“ Kura Sushi is all about the revolving sushi bar experience! It's so much fun to choose your dishes and enjoy little bites of nigiri, rolls, and other yummy selections! I think Kura is a great place to come to if you're feeling in the mood for Japanese food, but don't quite know what to get. It's a great thing about Kura is you get to eat with your eyes first as small plates pass you buy. It's also a unique experience to order on the small screen in front of your seat and watch as a conveyor belt brings your food directly to you! If you are a fish lover like me, you know that this location doesn't necessarily have the highest quality fish and isn't necessarily a great place to go if you want to primarily eat sashimi. This place is all about sushi rolls, karaage, ramen, udon, and dessert as much it is as it is about the fish itself. With that being said, I thought the quality of the food was pretty good and this place is always busy so the food is kept fresh on the revolving sushi bar. Kura is definitely an excellent place to end your day in Little Tokyo with a fun eating experience! And pro tip is to download their app and start collecting points for discount on your order! ”

“ Back in the old days, i used to eat at Frying Fish, a sushi boat bar right behind the stage at Tokyo Plaza. It was awful but kinda great too. When that shut down, i shed a tear, but before i could cry a minute longer, i noticed Kura around the corner. i generally take a dim view of restaurants with moving buffets, but i gotta say, Kura really delivers. The sushi is actually quite good, (its no Sasabune, but it's fresh and there are lots of options to marvel at and grab and eat as they whiz by. And if your fave thing never shows, there are touchscreens and a dedicated track (or a robot) that will trundle right to your seat. Get there early, there's often a wait, so be prepared to grab a soda at the grocery store and do some shopping in tokyo plaza. It's not the cheapest sushi, but it's easily as good or better than sushi gen, the super pricy place in Honda Plaza. My son and i hit Kura about 3x a month and we just keep going back. We usually drop a hundred but that adds up to about 20 plates between 2 people. A Lot!! if youre really hungry, you will be happy with the food and relieved at the price. enjoy! ”

“ Decent sushi, not the best quality but for a decent price. Came more for the experience and it definitely is fun for kids to enjoy. You could easily spend a lot here because you have sushi just passing by and it looks good so you take it. My favorite was the unagi (eel) with cream cheese, the snow crab, and caterpillar roll. I love a good o cucumber roll. I would skip the ramen cause it tasted pretty bland. They have so much choices. It is so easy & fun to order whatever you want on the ipad menu. Service was superb. Very attentive and friendly staff. Michelle is the best! They validate for parking which is a plus so we could walk around the plaza. There is always a wait but you get a text notifications to your phone allowing you to walk the plaza to kill time. ”

“ The experience I had here was truly Amazing. I came here yesterday for a meeting and was blown away with how cool the restaurant was If was about a 25 minute wait but we'll worth it! You sit down and there is a revolving center of food that comes around you! You can pick out the food you like and grab it. There is also a screen above you where you can pick out the foot you want. For your drinks you order drinks from the screen and a little robot brings you your drinks Great service, great food, great ambiance! I will be back again ”
